The Adirondack Fall Classic started in the mid ’90s when Dan Gorney started inviting his golf cronies up to Queensbury, New York for a few days of fall golf and fun at some of the southern Adirondacks’ most notable courses.

The event became an annual tradition, always played at the local favorites - Glens Falls Country Club and Hiland Golf Club with the occasional rotation to The Sagamore Resort and Saratoga National.

After a prolonged hiatus, Dan’s three sons - Chris, Brett, and Matt - have decided to revive the event as a way to honor “D-Go” and the tradition he started and always loved to host.

This year’s plans include rounds at Glens Falls and Hiland Park, plus a bonus nine at the local pitch-n-putt, Sunnyside Par 3.
